Six Nights of Live Music, Local Food, and Garden Magic Return to Elkhart This Summer
ELKHART, Ind. – Wellfield Botanic Gardens is thrilled to announce the return of Groovin' in the Gardens, its beloved outdoor summer concert series. Running from June through August 2026, the series brings six evenings of live music to the grounds of the America's top-ranked botanical garden at 1011 North Main Street, Elkhart, Indiana.
Gates open at 6 p.m. for each event, with music beginning at 7 p.m. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to explore the Gardens, grab food from local vendors, and settle in before the show. Tickets are available online at wellfieldgardens.org or at the door, and Wellfield members receive a discount on admission.
This year's lineup features a diverse range of performers. Blammo kicks off the season on June 25th, followed by Satisfaction, a Rolling Stones tribute show, on July 9th. Abbie Thomas and the Crazy Hearts take the stage July 16th, with jazz musician Dave Bennett performing July 23rd. Funk favorites Hipposonics round out the month on July 30th, and the Big Rig Band closes out the series on August 6th.
Each concert features food and drinks available for purchase from a rotating lineup of local vendors, including Navarre Catering, Sweazy Q, Hay Huey, Vanilla Bean Creamery, and Chief Ice Cream. Outside food and beverages are not permitted during concert events. Guests are welcome to bring their own chairs or blankets; limited seating is available on-site. Groups interested in guaranteed patio seating may inquire about rental options through the Wellfield website.
The concert series is rain or shine. In the rare event of cancellation due to severe weather, tickets are honored for one general admission visit to the Gardens, valid for one year from the event date.
Individual concert tickets and season passes are both available now at wellfieldgardens.org/groovin-in-the-gardens.
