Popular Session Types

An Annual Photography Membership or Daily Photography Permit is required for all posed portrait photography, whether or not you are a paid professional. This covers all the following session types, but is not limited to:

  • Permit fees apply on all days, including free admission days and special events

  • Photography equipment is allowed, but please keep it out of garden beds

  • Additional guests beyond permit inclusions pay admission

  • Groups of 10+ may be eligible for an admission discount, but must contact Wellfield two weeks in advance

  • Sessions outside normal operating hours available for an additional hourly fee

  • Drone photography is not permitted without prior permission from Wellfield's Marketing and Communications Manager and the Elkhart Airport

  • No props (balloons, streamers, confetti, etc)

  • Do not block pathways for other guests

  • Do not climb boulders, sculptures, trees, or wade in any water​
