Garden of Villains

Heroes and Villains invade Wellfield on Friday, October 3 and Saturday, October 4! Presented in partnership with the Hall of Heroes Superhero Museum, this Halloween-themed event combines the natural beauty of Wellfield with your favorite superheroes and villains and the fun of trick-or-treating.

General Information

You'll walk our main promenade and enjoy live performances from all your favorites, including: Descendents, Ghostbusters, Joker, Scooby Doo and Star Wars. We will also have famous cosplayers, including Brooke Stenz as Bebe Alkaid and Michael Wilson as Knightmage. Special thanks to the Comic-Collection of Michigan and Indiana Cosplayers. Don't forget the iconic '89 Batmobile AND the Joker Van! The Hall of Heroes Museum will have many of its special statues on display, as well. Take a photo with your favorites! Creative Face Painting by Diana and Andy Manoloff Pumpkin Carving will showcase their art in the Event Plaza, too. We'll also have local front-line heroes here sharing safety tips and answering your questions about what they do for our community.

Our Woodland Pavilion and Event Plaza will come alive with exhibits and treats. Our food vendors include All Things Snacks, The Chief Ice Cream, Mendia's Mexican Pizza, Navarre Bar, and Professor Butterbeer. So that we can support our local vendors, food and drink may not be brought into the Gardens; bags are subject to search.

We encourage all to dress in costume, or come as you are! This is a family-friendly event with something for everyone.
